If you're familiar with the Familia Figurines from Studio Arhoj, you may have seen a Buto before! Familia is a sister and brotherhood of small Japanese Shinto inspired figurines - distant relatives of the Ghost family from Studio Arhoj.
At Lifestory we photographed each one individually to ensure that you can now choose the exact ghost or familia of your choice, including this one from the Buto family.
Familia members are hand-cast in solid, heavy white porcelain. Eyes complete the figurines after they are glazed in our variety of unique high-fire colours.
They will quietly inhabit your living space and are useful as lucky talismans or decorative objects.
